She finished with a time of 9:03.22, setting an Olympic Trials record and achieving a personal best at Hayward Field.
Incoming freshman Scott Vines continues his successful season, advancing to the finals in the high jump after clearing 2.19 meters.

Four former Buffs competed in the 1,500 meters. Sage Hurta-Klecker and Dani Jones advanced to Friday's semifinals after automatically qualifying in their respective heats. Micaela Degenero just missed the cut after finishing ninth in her heat and posting the 20th-best time. Rachel McArthur finished 33rd.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Constien used the last 300 meters to break away from the pack, winning by three seconds and setting a meet record and a personal best of 9:03.22.
