Guest Relations Team Member Jobs - If you are a devoted Buffs fan and interested in serving the guests of Folsom Field and our other athletic facilities, there is a place for you on our team! Our dedicated staff of Guest Relations team members assist the Event Management department with the planning and executing of Colorado Buffaloes events. You are an ambassador between the Athletic Department and our guests on event day! We are looking for folks that want to provide remarkable experiences for our guests, while being a part of exciting sporting and entertainment events.

As a CU Guest Relations Team Member, you will:

  • Be responsible for enhancing the game day experience of our Buffs Fans 
  • Act as a game management liaison
  • Answer fan questions
  • Advise fans on game day protocols and Folsom Field / CU Events Center policies (e.g. permitted and prohibited items, concession locations, pregame timeline and events)
  • Work various positions (e.g. ticket scanning, suite level, ushers)
  • Be generally helpful

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to report promptly to all assigned events
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions based on situational circumstances
Compensation: $18.00/Hour

Student Employment
CU Athletics hires a variety of student employment positions throughout the academic year and summer. General job descriptions are below, but many positions are already full for the year. Please check the CU campus student employment website for active openings.

Minimum Wage Positions
Academics: Subject Tutor: provide tutoring to student-athletes. Tutor Support Assistant – prepare and update tutor schedule.  
Athletic Director’s Office: Assist with research projects, program development and budget analysis. 
Business Office: Assist with administrative duties, including travel, mailroom, payables, purchasing, etc. 
C Club: Assist with special event management and preparation and database management. 
Facilities/Events: Assist with set-up and tear down of Athletic spaces prior to contests and events. Assist with preventative maintenance of facilities. Assist with field management and maintenance. 
Digital/Marketing: Assist with social media content/planning. Assist with game day promotional operations and fan outreach events. Assist with website management and design.
Equipment: Assist with daily equipment operations including practice set-up/tear-down, laundry, equipment maintenance, etc. 
Graphic Design: Assist with creation of digital and print graphics for promotion of athletics and sports teams. 
Leadership & Career Development: Assist with content creation for digital media, event planning/execution and daily administrative tasks. 
Men’s Basketball: Assist with practice set-up, execution, tear-down. Assist with office duties, recruiting mailouts, graphic design, editing film, etc. 
Sports Information: Assist with tracking stats, writing stories, general research, quote-taking and game day administrative duties. 
Ticket Office: Sell tickets and assist with other ticket office needs on game days. 

Experience Based Pay Ranges
Analytics:
collect, clean verify and analyze data for department’s data-based decision-making models. Pay based on experience and years of service: $15-20/hr. 
Buffvision: Assist in live video production of CU Athletic Events. Includes camera work, graphic creation, replay/video playback, video engineering, technical direction and production. $25/hour
Office of Compliance Services: Law student intern program, assist with rules education distribution, monitoring, case research, and general office duties. $15-17/Hour 
Facilities: Scoreboard Attendant: operate Daktronics scoreboard or shot clock for home events including Volleyball, Soccer and Lacrosse. $15-17/hour 
Guest Relations: Enhance gameday experience for fans by answering questions, giving directions and ensuring safety. $15-16/Hour 
Performance Nutrition: Preparation and serving of food for Fueling Station. Set-up, tear-down, and maintenance of nutrition stations. Check-in of student-athletes at station. $15-$18. 
Sports Medicine: provide basic first aid needs & assist with rehab/treatments. Set-up/Tear-down for practice/games. $15.25-$16. Assist with covid testing protocols: $25/hour. 
Sports Video: Film practice, drills, games for various sports. Editing/copying film for sharing. $15-$17/hour. 

Summer Camp Counselors
Various sports hold summer camps and hire camp counselors to assist. These positions assist with check-in/out of campers, lead instructional groups, supervise campers and demonstrate skills. Camps are held primarily in summer by: Basketball, Football, Golf, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Volleyball. Pay ranges from $15-$22/hour.
