The Colorado Buffaloes are one of the most recognized athletic programs in the country, and the University of Colorado Athletic Communications office is responsible for meeting the demands of the media and other interested persons. Â
CU boasts 17 intercollegiate programs with 30 national championships and more than 1,300 All-America honors in its history. The CUAC staff arranges media interviews from across the nation and keeps media informed via press releases, record books, game notes, and much more. The office is also responsible for much of the content that goes public from the Buffs, manages the department's archives and handles media areas at home contests, also responsible for statistics and results of all programs.Â
Members of the media mst make interview requests known to the SID assigned to that sport with at least 24 hours notice and all interviews must avoid conflicts with a student-athlete's class, team obligations or free time. Â
