HIGH SCHOOL - He earned the California Interscholastic Federation Offensive Player of the Year for the Suburban League of the Southern Section and was a first-team All-Suburban League on defense as a senior for La Mirada High School and coach Mike Moschetti, a former quarterback at Colorado.  He gained 20-25 pounds of muscle prior to his senior year and his team improved from 4-7 his junior year to 13-1 as a senior, winning the CIF championship.  He ran 105 times for 900 yards and 15 touchdowns, and caught 24 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns on offense while compiling 85 tackles, four sacks and three forced fumbles on defense.  His most memorable game came in the state semifinal game, when La Mirada defeated Laguna Hills, 27-24 in overtime.  He rushed 27 times for 213 yards and two touchdowns.  La Mirada scored on a field goal in the first overtime period and after Laguna Hills drove to the three-yard line, La Mirada won the game by recovering a fumble.  Against Garden Grove in the CIF championship game, La Mirada was down 21-7 at half but came back to win 48-27 and he had 12 carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns.  He also had 12 carries for 102 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-12 win over league rival Mayfair.  He also played baseball in high school.

ACADEMICS - He plans on majoring in engineering at Colorado.      

PERSONAL - He was born August 26, 1991 in La Habra, Calif.  He enjoys playing video games, working out and playing baseball in his free time.
