His senior season, he earned defensive player of the year honors for the ILH (Interscholastic League of HawaiGÇÖi, the stateGÇÖs private school league).? ESPNHS named him to its All-HawaiGÇÖi team and the Honolulu Star Advertiser named him first-team All-ILH and second-team All-State.? He earned honorable mention All-ILH as a junior.?
