Colorado-Oklahoma State Notes

Colorado dropped its sixth-straight contest, falling to 0-6 in the Big 12. It’s the first time the Buffaloes have lost six-straight overall and six-straight to open conference play since 2016-17 in the Pac-12 (started 0-7).
 
Oklahoma State increases its series lead to 62-48 and has won the last two and five of the last six. OSU holds a 28-10 lead in Stillwater and has won 23 of the last 24 in Gallagher-Iba.
 
Colorado had 29 team fouls allowing Oklahoma State to shoot 31 of 42 from the foul line. It’s the most Colorado team fouls and free throws made and attempted by an opponent since March 10, 2016, when the Buffaloes had 33 fouls against Arizona in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament and the Wildcats shot 32 of 44 from the line.
 
Colorado rebounded from a sub-par performance at the line. The Buffaloes were 22 of 25 against the Cowboys (.880) after hitting just 13 of 21 against Cincinnati (.619)
 
Colorado’s 23 rebounds are a season low and the fewest since recording the same number at California on Dec. 31, 2022.
 
Colorado’s 12 steals tie for the second-most this season. It’s the fifth game of double-digit steals for the Buffaloes on the season and third during Big 12 play.
 
Colorado’s eight 3-pointers made over the last two games are its fewest in a two-game stretch this season. The Buffaloes have made just 8 of 35 in that span (.229).
 
Bangot Dak (15 points, 6-8 FG, 5 rebounds) led Colorado in scoring for the second-straight game. Recorded his fourth career double-figure scoring game, including two-straight and three in the last four contests. Averaging 12.0 points while hitting 65.4 percent over the last four games (17 of 26)
 
Sebastian Rancik (11 points, 3-5 FG, 4-4 FT) third career double-figure scoring game and best in Big 12 action. Tied a career-high with four free throws made.
 
Julian Hammond hit all four free throw attempts. Has made 43 of his last 45 (.956) and 50 of 54 for the season (.926).
