AT IMG ACADEMY

Played two seasons of varsity football with his final season coming at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, under head coach Greg Studrawa, before reclassifying to the class of 2026.
In his one season at IMG, he played at both wide receiver and defensive back. He finished with seven total tackles, six unassisted tackles. On offense, he had one reception for five yards.
In his sophomore season, he played seven games at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia.
He played both sides of the ball there as well, with nine receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns on offense. Defensively, he totaled 18 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, one pick-six, one sack, and one pass breakup.
Also competed in track and field, running a 10.9 100m dash and a 21.9 200m dash.

PERSONAL

Alexander Taj Ward is the son of Jasen and Semaris Ward. He has four brothers, Jace, Christian, Ethan, and Nathan.
His brother Christian is a freshman wide receiver with him at Colorado.
Enjoys fishing, watching movies, and studying other football players.
His uncle, Jamal Hatten, played college football.
