AT DUNCANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL 
  • Played four seasons of varsity football, splitting his time between two schools. He played his first two seasons at Wilmer-Hutchins under head coach Elzie Barnett. The final two seasons were spent at a Texas powerhouse in Duncanville under head coach Reginald Samples.
  • During his high school career he has played in 46 career games and finished with 224 total tackles, 37 pass breakups, seven interceptions, six tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and one sack.
  • Edwards has led Duncanville to a 10-1 record this season and will play Waxahachie in the Texas 6A Quarterfinals on Dec. 6. So far, he has recorded 64 total tackles, six pass breakups, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and one tackle for loss.
  • As a junior, he led the team to a 13-1 record and a trip to the Texas 6A State Championship, where he lost 50-21 to fellow Buffalo Quentin Gibson. He ended the year with 43 total tackles, seven pass breakups, three fumble recoveries, and one tackle for loss.
  • In his final season at Wilmer-Hutchins as a sophomore, he led the team to a 7-4 record and the Texas 4A State Playoffs. He finished with 79 total tackles, seven pass breakups, four tackles for loss, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one sack.
  • As a true freshman, Edwards burst on the scene with 38 total tackles, 17 pass breakups, and two interceptions.
