He specialized as a kickoff specialist, improving his touchback percentage each of his three varsity seasons. As a senior, he had an 85.7% touchback percentage, putting 34 out of 40 out of the endzone.
In his final season, he scored 86 points on 15-of-17 on field goals and 41-of-43 on extra points to help lead his team to a Division II Class AAA championship.
The longest field goal of his career was 52 yards in his junior season.
