HIGH SCHOOL—A three-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN… ESPN named him the No. 145 player in California and the No. 139 Athlete…The 247 Composite has him ranked as the No. 156 in the state and No. 146 athlete in the nation … He played wide receiver and cornerback on varsity his sophomore and junior seasons for Moreau Catholic, who did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19 … In his career, he tallied 2,199 all-purpose yards, rushing 43 times for 809 yards and 11 touchdowns, rushing once for a 26 yard touchdown, picking up 606 yards on kickoff returns with six touchdowns, and 476 yards on punt returns with one touchdown, while picking up 282 yards on 13 career interceptions, on which three he returned for touchdowns … As a junior he was named first-team all-league at receiver, defensive back and special teams, he tallied 32 receptions for 661 yards and 10 touchdowns … He totaled 17 touchdowns that season, adding a rushing touchdown, interception return for a touchdown, punt return touchdown and four touchdowns on kickoff returns … He had one rush for his 26-yard touchdown, five interceptions totaling 122 yards in returns with one touchdown, eight punt returns for 220 yards with a long of 65 yards and one touchdown, and six kickoff returns for 299 yards with four touchdowns … He totaled 1,328 all-purpose yards on 52 touches, picking up an average of 25.5 yards every time he had possession of the ball … He also added 31 tackles on defense with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery … As a sophomore when Moreau went 12-1 and made it to the North Coast Section Division IV title game, he was named first-team all-league as a returner and defensive back, he had eight interceptions and 13 tackles on defense, caught 11 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown, and had nine kickoff returns for 307 yards with a long of 82 yards, and eight punt returns for 256 yards with a long of 76 yards … He returned two interceptions for touchdowns and two kickoff returns for scores … His junior season, he had three 100-yard receiving games including six catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns against Salesian College Prep … He also had seven catches for 110 yards against Washington and six catches for 102 yards and two scores against San Marin … Three of his four catches went for touchdowns against Del Norte his junior season … He totaled over 250 all-purpose yards in three games … He scored touchdowns via multiple methods in four games, including four total touchdowns against San Marin, returning a punt and kickoff for scores to go with his two receiving touchdowns …  He had a propensity for big plays, recording three receptions over 50 yards with a long of 69 yards, two 50-plus yard interception returns, three kickoff returns of 65-plus yard and two punts of 50-plus yards … As a sophomore, he racked up 238 total yards against Irvington, including 52 receiving yards, 127 on kickoff returns and 59 on punt returns … His sophomore season, he had a kickoff return of 82 yards, a punt return of 76 yards, an interception return of 70 yards and a long reception of 40 yards ... He also ran track and field at Moreau Catholic.
