He played three seasons, two as a starter for head coach Mitch Evans at Taylorsville High School.
Helped the Tartars to three consecutive 15-1 seasons from 2017-19, including two Class 2A Championships (2017 and 2019).
McGill was a two-time Mississippi Association of Coaches All-State First-Team offensive lineman.
Contributed on both the offensive and defensive lines as a two-way contributor.
Anchored an offensive line that helped Taylorsville average 438.9 total yards, 37.3 points per game, and 81 offensive touchdowns in 2019.
On defense in 2019, he paced the defensive line, finished third on the team in tackles with 54, and led the Tartars in tackles for loss (8.5), including four-and-a-half sacks.
