Adam Ringler enters his sixth year as a member of Colorado’s athletic department in a dual role as head of sport science and assistant director of strength and conditioning for women’s basketball and volleyball.

His responsibilities includes driving strategy behind data utilization, athletic department wide integration of sport-science for all sports, the coordination and implementation of innovative technologies, and shaping high-performance principles and protocols.

He joined the staff in the summer of (’17) after spending the better part of seven seasons (‘10-‘17) at Wichita State University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, where he worked directly with the women’s basketball, volleyball, softball, women’s tennis and women’s golf teams.

Ringler earned his bachelor’s (’08) and master’s degrees (’10) in Kinesiology from Michigan State where he also served time as an intern and graduate assistant coach from (’06 -’10). He worked closely with the volleyball team and directly oversaw the strength and conditioning program for wrestling, helping the squad place six NCAA qualifiers and awarding one All-American. Ringler also assisted with the strength and conditioning programs for 17 Michigan State Olympic sports while assisting the men's and women's basketball teams.

In high school, Ringler earned all-state recognition in wrestling. His hobbies include hiking, computer programming, and reading. A native of Michigan, Ringler and his wife, Brittney, have a daughter, Breslin, and a son, Bear.
