Jace Watkins serves as the Associate Director of Development for the Buff Club, joining the team in January of 2025. In this role, Jace focuses on major gifts fundraising and working with donors throughout the state of Colorado, Texas, and the entirety of the Midwest region.
Jace comes to Boulder after spending a couple years (2023-2025) at Emporia State University as a Director of Development. There he served as a primary major gifts officer for the Athletic Department and University as a whole.
Prior to his time at Emporia State in Kansas, Jace has extensive ties to the Midwest. He served as a Development assistant at Kansas State University (2022-2023). He also served as an Assistant Director of Operations for the PGA Wichita Open (2020-2022). He interned with the Wichita State Athletic Department in multiple areas during his time there.
Jace earned his master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Analytics from Kansas State University in 2023 and two bachelor’s degrees in Sport Administration and Business Analytics from Wichita State University in 2021.
Jace is a Council Grove, Kansas native. Outside of work, Jace enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, skiing, attending concerts, sporting events, and enjoying the outdoors.
