Earned three letters skiing for the Buffaloes from 1991 through 1993 under coach Richard Rokos … A six-time All-American in Nordic/cross country (three times in both the freestyle and classical) … Had 12 career wins in 34 races, with 25 total podium finishes (top three efforts, seven runner-up efforts as well as six third place finishes in addition to the wins) … Those include one win and one runner-up finish in relay competitions … She was the NCAA champion in the classic as a senior in 1993, after having won the NCAA title as a junior in the freestyle in 1992 … She became just the second CU woman at the time to win two NCAA titles, not only in skiing but in any sport … Was the national runner-up in the classic as a junior and freestyle as a senior … A two-time NCAA West/Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association champion in the classic (sophomore, senior years) … Including NCAA regionals and championships, in 12 races, had 10 top five finishes (four wins) but was never below fourth at nationals … Her 11 individual wins are still tied for the third-most by a female skier at CU (and the 10th-most overall), with the winning percentage of 34.4 (11 out of 32) still third outright … The 11 victories are also tied for the second-most Nordic wins by Buff female … Her 23 podiums as an individual remain the fourth-most by a female (alpine and Nordic), third on the Nordic list and tied for ninth overall on the coed charts … Her 27 top five finishes are tied for fifth among females in both disciplines (with her six top five efforts in 1992 tied for the most in freestyle events) … Selected as the team’s Outstanding Nordic Woman all three years she competed as a Buffalo … A four-time CU Athlete of the Week and three-time Lucie Hanusova Award recipient (team honor) … A three-time winner in her native Norway in the national Coca-Cola Cup series in 1986, 1987 and 1989 … In 2000, she won her class in the 54-kilometer classic cross country ski race “Birkebeinerrennet ... She also had two class wins in the 21k running race Birkebeinerløpet in 2005 and 2006 ... She competed in several tour races after she returned to Norway, and kept training even after she stopped competitive racing ... Graduated from CU in 1993 with a degree in Business (Finance) … Currently resides in a small Norwegian town about 30 miles north of Oslo … Is engaged to Per Gunnar Moi and they have a 16-year old daughter, Anne.
