One of the top prep products in the state of Colorado, she had a sensational four years at CU ... She is still CU's sixth all-time leading scorer (1,599 points), and remains CU's all-time leader in assists (617), is second in free throws made (494) and attempted (717) and third in steals (284) and games started (117) ... She led the team in scoring her junior (14.8 ppg) and senior (15.1) seasons ... The only player in school history to lead the team in scoring, rebounding and assists in the same year (1988-89, her senior campaign); she was just seven rebounds shy of doing it her junior season as well ... Recorded 17 double-doubles during her career, eighth on CU's all-time list, and registered seven of the team's all-time ‘points-assists' double-doubles ... She scored in double-digits in 91 of 120 career games, the fifth-best total in team history ... CU was 83-38 during her career, culminated with a perfect 14-0 mark in Big Eight play her senior year, and was the league's postseason tournament champion once and runner-up twice ... She helped the Buffaloes to their first two NCAA Tournament appearances in 1988 and '89 ... She was tabbed the Big Eight Player of the Year as a senior and was an all-district and honorable mention All-American selection by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association ... As a sophomore in 1987 she was a second-team All-Big Eight selection and was the league's Newcomer of the Year in 1986 ... Played for the west squad at U.S. Olympic Festivals in 1986 and '87 ... Named to the Sportswomen of Colorado Hall of Fame in 1989 and was a second team pick on the Big Eight Conference's All-Decade team for 1980-89 ... She went on to play briefly with the Harlem Globetrotters and was a member of the WNBA's Houston Comets Developmental Team in 1998...Currently resides in Aurora where she has been a counselor and tutor for high risk teenage girls at Excelsior Youth Center since 2002.
