One of the most accomplished players in Colorado women’s golf history, she lettered four seasons from 2008-09 through 2011-12, helping elevate the program through one of the most important periods in its history during CU transition from the Big 12 Conference into the more demanding Pac-12 … She literally rewrote the CU record book, owning 45 school records at the time of her graduation: 14 career, 11 season, 11 tournament and nine round marks … Among her career records were most events played (45), rounds played (137), lowest stroke average for players with 100-plus rounds (74.48), most rounds under par (24), most birdies (266), most pars (1,312), most holes at or under par (1,582), most rounds in the 60s (seven), most rounds in the 70s (123), most top 10 finishes (19), most top 20 finishes (31) and most rounds counting toward team scoring (132) … She became the first CU women’s golfer to earn All-America honors, doing so as a senior in 2011-12 when she was named honorable mention by both the NGCA and Golfweek after leading the Buffaloes to their first NCAA Championship appearance … She earned first-team All-Big 12 honors as a junior and a senior, the first Buff honored first-team and the first to be named twice … In 2012, ranked No. 44 nationally by GolfStat and No. 46 by Golfweek after her senior season with (73.97 average, two top five, four top 10 and eight top 20 finishes), with 4-under par 68 in the third round of the NCAA West Regional was key for CU to improve from ninth into fourth and qualify for the NCAA Finals for the first time … That came shortly after she became the first CU player to shoot in the 60s in conference tournament history and in postseason play, with a 3-under 69 at the Pac-12 Championships, where she finished ninth for her third career top 10 conference tournament performance … Earlier that spring, she shot a CU-record 6-under 66 in the first round of the Clover Cup, becoming the first player in school history to shoot 66, while finishing third and leading Colorado to the team title … As a junior, she put together one of the best seasons in school history at the time, with a 73.71 stroke average, nine subpar rounds, seven top 10 finishes and 10 top 20 efforts in 12 tournaments … She opened that season with a 7-under par 209 at the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic, both matching CU records, and later set a CU mark by going 6-under par with a 67 at the Dick McGuire Invitational … As a sophomore, she was named CU’s Female Athlete of the Year, the first women’s golfer to earn that honor, after posting a 74.94 stroke average, then the second-best in school history, and finishing with two top five, four top 10 and seven top 20 finishes, including fifth at the Big 12 Championships, becoming the first Buff to earn Big 12 All-Tournament honors twice … She played all 33 rounds as a freshman, setting a CU record with a 75.42 average, with a sixth place finish at the Big 12’s …. She was twice named Big 12 Golfer of the Month, named CU Athlete of the Week five times, and received CU’s Female Career Athletic Achievement Award as a senior (when also honored by Sportswomen of Colorado with its Collegiate Golf Award) … She earned Academic All-Big 12 honorable mention and graduated from Colorado with degrees in History and Communication … She prepped in California, lettering in golf at Justin-Siena High School in Napa and at R.L. Stevenson School in Pebble Beach … Following graduation from CU in 2012, she earned full status on the Symetra Tour (now the Epson Tour), where she competed from 2012-16, having narrowly missed earning her LPGA Tour card several times … She competed on three Golf Channel Big Break series (won Big Break NFL with teammates Jerry Rice and Isaac Sanchez) and was runner-up in the 2014 Big Break Invitational … After moving to Norway in 2015, she qualified for full status on the Ladies European Tour and competed professionally until retiring in 2017 … She is currently the  sales and marketing manager for Nusfjord Village & Resort, a luxury destination in Norway’s Lofoten Islands … Married to former CU Nordic skier Andreas Hoye; they live in Oslo, Norway with their three children, Felix, Stella and Max … She was born August 5, 1990, in Napa, Calif.
