Earned four letters as a left side hitter under head coach Brad Saindon and assistant Pi'i Aiu, from 1993-96 … During her tenure, CU was 85-35 overall and 42-14 in conference matches, helping lead CU in the transition from the Big Eight to the Big 12 as a senior … Started all four years, finished her career with 117 starts in 120 matches played while seeing action in 419 sets in her career … Finished her CU career with 1,484 kills, 1,342 digs, 156 blocks, 145 aces and 140 assists and is the only outside hitter in CU history with more than 140 blocks, aces and assists in a career … She was named all-conference three times, second-team All-Big 8 as a sophomore and junior and first-team All-Big 12 as a senior … She was a freshman starter on the only conference championship team in program history in 1993 (and one of two on conference tournament teams that same season) as CU became just the second Big Eight program to capture a Big Eight championship aside from Nebraska just seven years into the league’s existence … Holds 18 school records … Her 1,484 kills ranked second when she graduated and is still third in CU history … Her 1,342 digs ranked fourth when she graduated and is still fifth most in CU history … One of two players in CU history to record 1,400 kills and 1,300 digs in a career … 1994 Big Eight Aces champion … In 1995, she ranked third in kills and second in digs in the Big Eight and in 1996, she was third in kills and fourth in digs in the expanded Big 12 … One of two players to record 300 kills and digs in the same season three times … Was the second player in NCAA history to record 100 attacks in a single match setting a new NCAA record with 106 against Iowa State in 1995, she still ranks tied for second in the NCAA record book … After CU, she turned professional in beach volleyball and racked up almost $800,000 in career earnings which still ranks 21st in pro beach volleyball history … She had eight wins, including two Grand Slam events on the international stage with Kerri Walsh Jennings on the FIVB tour … Professionally, she was named most improved and the best defensive player in 2005 and in all had 23 championship match appearances in her career that spanned from 1999-2013 … During that time, she was a five-time member of the U.S. National Beach Volleyball Team (2004 through 2008) … Born on June 15, 1975 in Laguna Beach, Calif., she was the California High School player of the year for 1993 as a senior at Laguna Beach High … She married fellow beach volleyballer Sean Scott in 2007, and the couple has two teenage children, son Koa and daughter Nila.
