TEAM:
-CU moved to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in Big 12 play
-CU's bench scored 26 of CU's 59 points
-CU had no fouls in the 1st 10 minutes of the second half. Their 1st foul came with 9:35 remaining.
-CU shot 50% from behind the arc which was the second highest 3pt shooting percentage all season
-KSU's 48.2 percent from the field is a CU opponent season high
-Tied KSU in rebounds 33-33, first tie of the season on the boards and marks the 15th time in 19 games CU has either equaled or outrebounded its opponent.
-KSU's 72 points are the second-most allowed by the Buffaloes this season.
-Kansas State takes over the series lead from CU 34-33. It is KSU's first outright lead in the series since March of 1992. CU tied the series at 13-13 on March 7, 1992
BRITTANY SPEARS:
-Spears made her 112th consecutive start tying Amy Mathern's school record set during her final 112 games from 1989-93
-Spears finished the night with 13 points, passing Tera Bjorklund (2000-04) for third place on CU's all-time scoring list.
-Spears needs only one free throw to tie Erin Carson (1984-88) for 11th all time in free throws made.
MEAGAN MALCOLM-PECK:
-Malcolm-Peck had one 3-point field goal, moving into sole possession of 19th place on CU's career list with 45.
JULIE SEABROOK:
-Seabrook had a team high eight rebounds. She has eight or more rebounds in five of the last six games.
CHUCKY JEFFERY:
-Jeffery logged 27 minutes off the bench scoring a team high 19 points and adding 7 rebounds
-Jeffery also had three steals. Coming into tonight's game Jeffery led the Big 12 with 3.3 steals per game.
BRITNEY BLYTHE:
-Blythe led the team with 33 minutes scoring 9 points. She also added 4 assists and 1 steal. Blythe was turnover free for the fourth consecutive game.
RACHEL HARGIS:
-Her four points and six rebounds were a career high in conference play, and just one off each of her respective career marks (5 pts vs. Texas State, 7 reb vs. Colgate).
