QUICKLYÂ Oregon now leads the series by a 9-8 count (2-3 in Eugene) ... CU has lost 10 in row against ranked teams (last win: 34-30 over Kansas in 2009) and have lost 20 straight road games against ranked opponents (last win coming in the Los Angeles area, a 31-17 over UCLA at the Rose Bowl in 2002) ... The Buffs are 4-16 all-time against teams ranked No. 2 (2-16 versus AP's second banana and another 2-0 versus the UPI/coach's second best) ... Colorado is now 2-6 all-time in the Beaver State, both wins at Autzen, 13-6 in 1955 and 17-13 in 1967, the first game ever played in Autzen ... Today's game featured the 2012 Pac-12 Cross Country champions, as earlier in the day in Santa Clarita, Calif., Colorado (men) and Oregon (women) were crowned the league first champions for the 2012-13 school year. CU had won both in 2011.

ALUMNI NEWS Former Buffalo PK Mason Crosby ('06) was named Friday as the first official spokesman for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. CU's all-time leading scorer is in his sixth season with the Green Bay Packers.
INDIVIDUAL LINER NOTES
DE Will Pericak started his 45th straight game today (every game of his career, dating back to his first in the '09 opener). That breaks the old mark of consecutive starts on offense or defense (44, C Bryan Stoltenberg, 1992-95). He has now tied ILB Jordon Dizon (2004-07) for the most starts by a defensive player in CU history; the most starts overall is 47 (OL Ryan Miller, 2007-11).
—He forced two fumbles today, giving him four on the season; that's the most since 2000, when SS Michael Lewis also had four and the most by defensive lineman since 1990, when NT Garry Howe had four.
OL Ryan Dannewitz made his first start of the season. Subbing at left tackle for OT David Bakhtiari, who tweaked a knee in practice this week (Tues.); he tried to go but couldn't.
DB Tommy Papilion (junior) saw his first action as a Buffalo, appearing on the punt return unit on special teams.
