Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Sean Carlson expressed excitement about returning to Big 12 competition. "I'm just excited to come out here with our men and women for the Big 12 meet for the first time in a while for our cross country teams," Carlson said. "I think the main goal this weekend is just to come out here and be exactly what we are and perform to our ability and fitness level, which I think is going to be pretty good. The Big 12 is a really, really tough conference, and it should give us some great experience heading into the national meet."
