
Buffs Prepped for NCAA Championships in Madison

BOULDER — The Colorado Buffaloes cross country team will participate in the 2024 Cross Country NCAA Championships Saturday morning in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Buffs will race in the 6k event on the women's side at 8:20 a.m. MT and the 10k event on the men's side at 9:10 a.m. MT on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.
Jessie Secor will be representing the women's team racing individually in the 6k race, while the men's team will run as a unit in the 10k, for their 32nd consecutive NCAA Championship appearance.
Secor placed 11th in the 6k event Reno last weekend during the NCAA Mountain Regionals with a time of 20:10.2, punching her ticket to Madison. The men's team placed 5th overall out of 17 schools at the NCAA Mountain Regionals with 157 total points. Isaiah Givens (17th - 29:41.1), James Overberg (27th - 29:54.3), and Simon Kelati (33rd - 29:59.6) led the charge for CU during the 10k race.
