CU set for first Big 12 meeting against BYU
PROVO, Utah – Colorado women's basketball, fresh off its upset win over No. 10 Kansas State, returns to the court against BYU on Wednesday (7 p.m. MT/ESPN+).
Wednesday will mark the first meeting between CU and BYU since the first round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament. The Buffaloes are 8-7 all-time against the Cougars and have won the last six meetings.
Colorado (13-4, 4-4) shut down the high-powered Kansas State offense on its way to its second ranked-win of the season. The Buffs held KSU, which averaged 83.2 points per game, to a season-low 53. Jade Masogayo helped secure the win with 13 points, seven rebounds and a season-high four blocks.
BYU (10-9, 1-7) enters Wednesday on a four-game slide. The Cougars are 6-4 at home this season but have not found the win column since defeating Houston on Jan. 8.

- Solid Jade – Jade Masogayo leads the Buffs with 14 double-figure scoring games this season. She is averaging a career-high 12.5 points per game this season and 14.8 points per game in Big 12 play. Masogayo had a season-high four blocks against No. 10 Kansas State, tying the CU record of blocks in a quarter with three in the fourth quarter.
