Buffs Head to Fort Worth To Take on TCU: Five Things to Know
October 03, 2025 | Football
FORT WORTH — Colorado football returns to the beginning on Saturday, visiting Armon G. Carter Stadium for the first time since the start of the Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders Era.
Saturday will be the third all-time meeting between Colorado and TCU. Each side has won in the opposing team's stadium, with the Buffaloes looking to make it 2-0 on TCU's home turf.
Colorado (2-3, 0-2) has seen improved offensive line play this season, headlined by sophomore Jordan Seaton. Seaton has a pass block grade of 91.4 on PFF, the top of any offensive lineman in the Power 4. He's one of just four offensive linemen grading out over 90 and the only tackle on the list.
In 174 pass block snaps, he has allowed just one hurry, has one penalty, and has a perfect 100% on pass block efficiency.
Overall, the Buffs' pass blocking grade is 89.1, the best mark in the Big 12 and third best in the Power 4.
As a team, the offensive line has 187 pass blocking snaps and has been penalized just twice (one accepted) and given up 27 pressures in total.
TCU (3-1, 0-1) dropped out of the top 25 this week, following its 27-24 loss at Arizona State last week. The Horned Frogs have been able to get to the quarterback this season, ranking second in the Big 12 and 18th in the FBS with 3.0 sacks per game. TCU has also been able to put up points on defense, leading the conference and sitting 4th in the nation with two defensive touchdowns. Offensively, quarterback Josh Hoover ranks fourth in the Big 12 with 9.20 yards per attempt and third in total offense, averaging 308.5 yards per game.
