CU Athletics and Taco Bell franchisee Alvarado Restaurant Nation Team Up to Launch First-Ever Buffs Box & Touchdown Scholarship Program

The University of Colorado (CU) Athletic Department is proud to announce the addition of Alvarado Restaurant Nation  as an official partner of the Colorado Buffaloes, which will include the first-ever $7 Buffs Box and an exciting scholarship donation initiative for the 2025 season.

The Buffs Box is available now at participating Colorado Taco Bell locations operated by Alvarado Restaurant Nation and includes four Taco Bell classics plus a large fountain drink, served with a signature Buffs collectible cup featuring one of four CU football standouts: Ju Ju Lewis, Jordan Seaton, Dre'Lon Miller, and Quentin Gibson. Fans can collect all four designs throughout the season to celebrate their favorite Buffs players both at the game and at home.

In addition to bringing Buffs fans an unbeatable game-day meal, Alvarado Restaurant Nation is giving back in a big way. For every CU Buffaloes touchdown scored during the 2025 football season, they will donate $1,000 to the Golden Buffalo Scholarship Fund. These donations will directly support CU student-athletes, helping them succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Buffs fans can join the excitement by picking up their Buffs Box at participating Colorado Taco Bell locations and cheering on the Buffs all season long. Every touchdown means more than points on the board—it's another step toward helping CU student-athletes achieve their goals.

Alvarado Restaurant Nati and Colorado Athletics worked closely to develop this partnership with athletics multimedia rights holder Buffalo Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics.
