Peluso, Oh Repeat Big 12 Honors

IRVING, Texas – Colorado's Jess Peluso and Elena Oh doubled up on their Big 12 Player of the Week Awards, taking home the Defender and Goalkeeper categories for the second consecutive week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Peluso, a senior from East Islip, N.Y., helped the CU defense hold Cornell to just five scores. The now five-time Big 12 Defender of the Week grabbed a season-high four ground balls and forced two turnovers. Two games into the season, Peluso ranks third in the conference with 2.00 caused turnovers per game.
Oh, a sophomore from Chapel Hill, N.C., made five more saves against the Big Red in the 8-5 win. She enters the week leading the Big 12 in minutes played by a goalie and is 16th in the NCAA with her 7.00 GAA. Oh also leads the conference with a .481 save % and her 6.5 saves per game. This is Oh's sixth-career Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week.
