Women’s Golf Schedule Set For 2026-27

BOULDER – The University of Colorado has announced the women's golf schedule for the 2026-27 season.
The Buffaloes have 10 regular season events on their calendar – five in the fall portion of the season and five in the spring, leading into the 2026 Big 12 Conference Championship. Six of those tournaments will be return trips from last season.
Colorado's lineup features a wide array of championship venues and elite competition. The Buffaloes will visit three courses that have hosted major championships: Chambers Bay (Wash.), TPC Harding Park (Calif.) and Del Paso Country Club (Calif.). Three others are at venues that have hosted PGA Tour or LIV events: The Woodlands (Texas), Silverado (Calif.) and Las Vegas Country Club.
The Buffaloes will again compete in two of the premier events in college golf at the Stanford Intercollegiate (Oct. 16-18) and the GameAbove Invitational (March 15-16).
"I'm excited about how the 2026-27 schedule came together," Colorado head coach Madeleine Sheils said. "I always try to prioritize three things when setting our schedule: playing great golf courses, against great competition and in a way that balances well with our academics. The 10 regular season events we have selected achieve just that."
For the fourth straight season, the Buffaloes open at the Leadership and Golf Invitational at the Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., Sept. 14-15.
Colorado returns to the Centennial State for the GolfWeek Challenge at Red Sky Golf Club, Sept. 21-23, in Wolcott, Colo. The Buffaloes remain in the metro area a little over a week later for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, Oct. 2-4, at the University of Denver Golf Club in Highlands Ranch.
"We are thrilled to have two events in Colorado again this fall where local Buffs fans can see us compete," Sheils said.
Colorado heads west to wrap up the fall at the Stanford Intercollegiate and the Nanea Invitational Oct. 26-28, at a USA Top 100 course at the Nanea Golf Club in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
Colorado's first three full-team spring events will be at new destinations for the 2026-27 squad. The Buffaloes begin the spring at the Paradise Invitational, hosted by Florida Atlantic, Feb. 1-3, at the Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Fla. Two weeks later, Colorado heads to the Texas Golf Throwdown, Feb. 15-16, at The Woodlands Country Club outside of Houston.
The Buffaloes will compete at the Juli Inkster Invitational, March 9-10, hosted by San Jose State and San Francisco. Colorado has played at iterations of this event six times since 2010, but this will be the first at TPC Harding Park.
"We've shaken things up in the spring schedule with new stops in South Florida, The Woodlands and in San Francisco," Sheils said. "I think these three very different locations will prepare us well for the post-season by exposing us to a wide variety of grasses, weather, and layouts."
In between the Texas Golf Throwdown and the Juli Inkster Invitational, Colorado will send a select group to compete as individuals at the Causeway Invitational, Feb. 22-23, at the Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento. The Buffaloes won that event as a team this past February.
Colorado wraps up a busy seven-week stretch with the GameAbove Invitational, March 15-16, hosted by USC and Eastern Michigan.
The Buffaloes conclude the regular season by hosting, along with Colorado State, the 13th Chevron Silverado Showdown, April 5-7, at the Silverado Resort & Spa North Course in Napa, Calif.
The 2026 Big 12 Championship is set for April 21-23 at the Las Vegas Country Club in Las Vegas. NCAA Regional play is set for May 10-12 at six sites, with the NCAA Championship scheduled for May 21-26 at the Omni La Costa Champions Golf Course in Carlsbad, Calif.
