Bossow tallied the best hitting percentage on the team (.369), the second best in school history and the best for a middle blocker in 2005. She has one of the highest attack percentages and could end her career near the top of the career best list.

As a Junior in 2005

Bossow led CU with a .369 hitting percentage, which ranks second on the CU single season record book. It is the best hitting percentage for a middle blocker, passing Meghan Barkman’s .360 attack percentage.  She ranked fourth in the conference in hitting percentage and was third in conference only matches with a .397 mark. Bossow ranked third on the squad in aces. She served up a career-best five aces in a five-game victory against No. 8 Missouri (10/29) and helped CU defeat its first top-10 opponent since 1997. Bossow started in every match (28) and was one of three Buffaloes to participate in all 110 games. She hit .500 or above on seven occasions, which included a career-best .833 (10kills-0errors-12attacks) against Iowa State (10/26) and hit above .300 in 15 matches.  Bossow recorded 10 or more kills in 14 matches, including a career-high 16 in an upset of No. 20 Kansas State (10/12). On senior night against Texas A&M, she performed well on offense and defense. She tallied 11 kills and seven block assists, but also picked up eight digs. On the career blocks list, Bossow moved up 10 positions from 28th last season, to 18th this year with 202.

As a Sophomore in 2004

Led Colorado in blocking with 104, ranking 15th on CU’s single-season list, and was the first Buffalo to reach 100 for the season since all-time blocking leader Meghan Barkman had 115 in 2002. Bossow tied a school record for blocks in a 3-game match with a career-high 11 in CU’s home win over No. 16 Kansas State (9/15). Her 11 blocks, also a school record for a sophomore, marked CU’s first double-digit blocking performance since Barkman had 10 against Kansas in 2001 and tied for the second-highest total in the Big 12 in 2004. She had at least one block in all but one match (Missouri on 10/23) and had at least three blocks in 18 of 28 contests. Bossow hit .300 or better on 14 occasions last fall including a career-best .733 as she recorded 11 kills on 15 attacks with no errors in the Buffs’ home win over Kansas (10/9). She reached double digits in kills three times and posted career-highs in kills (14), attacks (24) and points (17.5) in CU’s NCAA Tournament match against No. 2 Hawai’i (12/2). Bossow started 26 of 28 matches in the middle, giving way to teammate Allison Barnes on senior day against Iowa State (11/24) and coming off the bench against Hawai’i due to serving rotation.

As a Freshman in 2003

Bossow only played 23 games in 14 matches, but her playing time increased considerably towards the end of the season. She saw action in the final four matches, including CU’s NCAA Tournament contest against Michigan. In CU’s final regular season match against Oklahoma, Bossow registered career-highs with five kills, four blocks and seven points. She also had four blocks and a personal-high nine attacks against Maine (8/31). Bossow made her collegiate debut at the Maine Sea-Sun Invitational with one kill and two digs against Southeast Missouri State (8/29).

High School

She garnered Colorado All-State Tournament honors in 2001 and led VMS to district and regional championships her junior and senior seasons. She was all-state as a senior.
