BOULDER - The University of Colorado women's volleyball team has joined Team Impact and signed six-year old Chloe Wojnowski to a National Letter of Intent Saturday, August 24, 2019.

"It's a really special day for us," said head coach Jesse Mahoney. "Every time that we have a new recruit that signs with the University of Colorado volleyball they become a part of our family. We are excited to have Chloe and her family become part of the Buff family. I know our players will learn a lot from Chloe, be inspired by her and her resilience and we can't wait to have her be a part of our family."

Wojnowski, or better known as Cloverbear, is a six-year old from Longmont that has cystic fibrosis. Wojnowski met with the team before yesterday's Black and Gold Scrimmage and was officially signed at 1 p.m. during a special press conference with the team and CU support staff.

The six-year old little Buff describes herself as energetic, something that was apparent Saturday when she met and played with the team during warmups.  She showed lots of energy playing balloon volleyball with all the players after signing her NLI and being presented with her own jersey.

Chloe will wear No. 1 this season and join the Buffaloes when possible at practice and all home matches.

Cloverbear dreams of vacationing in Hawaii and wishes she had the superpower of flying. Her favorite movie is Leap and her favorite food is pizza. Her idol and favorite athlete is her dad.
