San Diego narrows Colorado’s lead in the series to 3-2 and picks up its first win in Boulder.

Colorado’s 14 field goals was its fewest since making 14 in a 79-51 home loss to Utah on Feb. 7, 2015.

The Buffaloes shot 25.9 percent, their lowest figure since shooting 23.1 percent at California on Mar. 2, 2013 (15-65). It’s also Colorado’s lowest field goal percentage at the Coors Events Center. The previous low was 27.3 percent vs. Kansas on Feb. 14, 2007.

Colorado’s 28 free throws made and 34 attempts were both season highs.

The Buffs committed a season-low nine turnovers.

Colorado falls for just the second time in its last 22 nonconference regular season games at the Coors Events Center. Overall, the Buffaloes have won 28 of their last 36 against nonconference opponents.

George King (14 points, 4-of-16 FG, 6-of-6 FT, 11 rebounds) King records his third double-double of the season, the 10th of his career. He passes Chauncey Billups (1995-97) and is now 32nd on CU’s all-time scoring list with 1024 points. He also moves to a tie for 28th on CU’s all-time rebounding list with 520. King’s 16 field goal attempts was a team season high.

McKinley Wright IV (12 points, 3-of-10 FG, 5-of-6 FT) Wright IV has scored double figures in each of his first 10 games.

Tyler Bey recorded a career-high nine rebounds.
