Soccer Youth Day Camps

Youth Day Camp 1 and 2
Players will learn basic technical skills, team play, and rules of the game through fun activities and exercises. Our main goal of this camp is to provide an instructional learning environment that is fun and challenging to help improve each player’s technical and tactical abilities. Players will be coached by current CU soccer players along with players from various colleges and divisions.Â
All CU soccer camps are open to and all, limited only by age and number of participants.
Schedule – Days 1-4
8:30 – Check In - Prentup Field
9:00 – Intro meeting with your coach / Warm-Up
9:15 – Training / Stations / Games / Snack
Noon – 1:00 – Lunch / Lil' Buff’s depart
1:00 – Training / Games / Competitions
3:00 – Campers depart
Final DayÂ
8:45 – Check in - Prentup Field
9:00 - Training and Games
11:15 – Food provided
Noon - All campers depart

During this full day of camp, players will start the day learning 9 instrumental techniques of the game including:
| Topic | Focus of the topic |
| Dribbling, Speed, and Agility | Deceptive moves to beat an opponent. Using different foot surfaces |
| Turns, Heading | Changes in direction to beat a player or create space. Using different foot surfaces |
| Passing and Receiving | Improve passing range and accuracy, and first touch to maintain possession of the ball |
| Shooting and Crossing | Striking techniques to score goals |
