Colorado falls to 1-7 on the road this season. Overall the Buffaloes have dropped two straight and four of their last five.
 
UCLA increases its series lead to 20-7 and have won 13 of 15 all-time meetings in Los Angeles.
 
Colorado shot 52.2 percent from the field, hitting the 50 percent mark for the 13th time, the most in one season since the 2009-10 team had 15 in 31 games. The Buffaloes fell for just the ninth time in 114 games in the Tad Boyle era when shooting at least 50 percent (105-9). Colorado dropped its second game of the season when shooting at least 50 percent, the other coming at Colorado State.
 
Colorado dropped to 2-5 in games decided by five points or less and 4-7 in games decided by 10 points or less.
 
Colorado was 6-of-10 from the line, tying season-lows for free throws made, attempted and percentage (also 6-for-10 at Arizona). The Buffaloes had 29 rebounds, the second-lowest total this season (25 at Arizona). Colorado had a season-low two steals.
 
Colorado’s 60 points was its second-fewest of the season and the 46 field goal attempts was a season low. The 46 field goal attempts were the Buffaloes fewest since having just 42 vs. Washington State on Jan. 22, 2023 (W, 58-55).
 
KJ Simpson (4 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) held to his lowest scoring total of the season and only the second time in 25 games he’s been held under double figures. It’s his fewest points since being held to four points at Oregon State on Jan. 28, 2023. Led the Buffaloes in rebounding for the third time this year. He had one steal, moving into a tie for 14th on CU’s all-time list at 114 joining Billy Law (1990-92) and Michael Lee (1985-88).
 
Tristan da Silva (16 points, 6-11 FG, 3-6 3FG, 5 rebounds) moved into a tie for 23rd in career scoring, now with 1,253 points, matching Blair Wilson (2000-04) and passing Scott Wedman (1,251 from 1971-74). Moved into a tie for 16th in career 3-pointers made with 125, joining Cory Higgins (2007-11) and Nate Tomlinson (2008-12). Has made six of his last 12 3-point attempts (.500).
 
Cody Williams (18 points, 8-9 FG, 2-3 3FG) led the Buffaloes in scoring for the third time. Hit his first eight field goal attempts; finished 8-of-9 after missing a desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer with the Bruins up by the final margin of four.
