2011-12 (Freshman): Esther Lee joined the Colorado program as a walk-on in September 2011. She played in 13 games for the Buffaloes, mostly during the preseason, but did appear in two of four Postseason WNIT games and logged a career-best nine minutes in the second round win over South Dakota (3/19). She scored six of her season's 11 points in the win over Denver (12/8), hitting both of her attempts from 3-point range. She made 4-of-5 field-goal attempts on the season, including 3-of-4 from long range. She made her collegiate debut against Northern Arizona, entering in the game's final minute.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lee is a 2011 graduate Harvard-Westlake High School where she helped the Wolverines to one state championship, two CIF-Southern Section titles and three Mission League crowns. A 2011 all-league selection and Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (SCIBCA) Division 2A All-Southern Section second team pick, she averaged 15 points, helping the Wolverines to a 26-10 record and the CIF state quarterfinals. The Wolverines won the Mission League title and advanced to the Division 2A CIF-Southern Section Finals. Lee’s Harvard-Westlake squad won the 2010 Division IV state championship as the Wolverines were 34-1 overall. Lee helped the Wolverines to a 22-10 mark as a sophomore in 2009, winning the Mission League and advancing to the state quarterfinals. After her senior year, she participated in the “Battle of the Valley” Senior All-Star Game and was the 3-point champion. She played for the California Storm club program from her freshman to senior year of high school.

ACADEMICS: Lee is planning to major in business at CU. Her parents, who own a car dealership, are the influence on her major.

PERONAL: Esther Jean Lee was born on June 23, 1993 in Los Angeles. She is the daughter of John and Kimberly Lee and has one older sister, Rebecca. Her hobbies include tennis and going bowling with her family. She would like to play basketball professionally outside the U.S. or become a collegiate coach. Lee is good with impersonations of celebrities, family and friends.
