College—2024-25 (Fr.): He saw action in three tournaments, two in the spring and one as a designated scorer … In the spring, his 4-over 217 in the The Prestige at PGA West was his best event in relation to par, which tied him for 54th (in the field of 120) … His best finish was a tie for 16th in Arizona State’s Papago Individual in the fall, his first collegiate event: after opening with a 79, he came back to score a par round (71) and then finished with his best round of the season (a 3-under 68) for a 5-over 218 … The 68 tied the eighth lowest score for a freshman in his first college tournament as a Buff … His best round was his third, when he owned a 70.0 average … Played the par-5 holes the best at 9-under par … Did not play in CU’s Simpson Invitational as he was traveling to Japan to play in the Asia-Pacific Amateur.
 
Other2025: During the summer, he played in China in mostly professional events, with his best effort a tie for fifth place finish in the Beijing Tianxing Leg 3 event when he recorded an 11-under 70-69-66—205 … Another top finish was 10th place in the CLPGQ Orient Xiamen with a 5-under 68-72-71—211 performance (he was the eighth amateur).  2024: He was invited to play in the prestigious Asia-Pacific Amateur in Gotemba, Japan in October (a 120-player field representing 43 countries); he was tied for 27th and made the cut (71-70—141, +1); heavy rain suspended the third round, in which he was 5-over through 12 holes, but he missed his tee time when play resumed and was disqualified ... Spent the late spring and summer playing in his native China, in several CLPGQ Gionee and Xiamen Series events; in eight of those, he finished in the top 10 five times and in the top 20 in all, including two wins and a runner-up effort (he averaged 71.5 strokes for those 24 rounds) ... He won the Gionee Series 1 (70-72-72—214, -2) and the Xiamen Series 4 (69-70-72—211, -5) and tied for second in the Gionee Series 6 (67-69-69—205, -8; he was tied after 54 holes but lost in a playoff) … In the Volvo China Open, a DP World Tour event, he shot 70-75—145 (+1), missing the cut by just four shots but was low amateur of the four who qualified  2023: He closed the year with a third place finish in the China Amateur Open (291, +3) … In the U.S. Junior Amateur, he tied for 44th in the stroke play at the Daniel Island Club in Charleston, S.C., with a 1-over par 70-74—144 effort; he was seeded 51st and before losing in the quarterfinals, he defeated the No. 14, No. 46 and No. 30 seeds (in the quarterfinals, he lost 2-up to the No. 6 seed Joshua Bai, a New Zealand teenager and eventual runner-up overall) … While in the United States, he recorded three top six finishes in AJGA competition: third in the Jim Click Automotive-HSL Properties Championship (72-76-71—219, +3); fifth in the SERI PAK Desert Junior (70-71-75—216, E); and sixth in the Huntsville Junior (73-73-67—213, -3) … He also tied for 36th in the North and South Junior Amateur (70-73-78—221, +5) in Pinehurst, N.C. … Back home in China, he finished second in the China Golf Association’s Volvo National Junior Match Play Championship (five matches in all) … He competed in five CLPGQ Gionee·Zhaoqing Series events, with two runner-up, two fourth place and 10th place finishes.  In those 15 rounds, he owned a 70.7 stroke average; on two occasions, he had 10-under 206 efforts (69-68-69 in Series 1; 69-67-70 in Series 2) … He also played one CLPGQ Xiamen Series event (No. 2), where he finished second, one stroke out of the top spot, with a 70-70-72—212 (-4) score … He finished tied for 38th but as the fourth low amateur in a return in the Mitsubishi Electric Open, with a 75-74-75-71—295 (+7) effort.  2022: He tied for fifth in the China Tour’s Mitsubishi Electric Open, where he was the top amateur, one of just two to make the cut, in the 84-man field with a 72-73-73-73—291 (3-over) score.   Playing alongside numerous pros, he had 10 birdies and 49 pars overall … He also tied for 39th – the third low amateur – in the Hainan Golf Open (73-75-70-74—292, +4) … Won the JSBC National Junior Championship Final by three strokes (68-69-69—206, -10) and the Volvo National Junior Golf Challenge (Leg 1: 69-70-69—208, -5), also by three strokes ... He finished third in the China Amateur Golf Open Series Final (75-70-70-74—289, +1), six off the lead in the event open to all ages … Also took third in the China Junior Golf Open (73-75—148, +4), five back of first … Had a fourth place finish in the China Junior Golf Classic (71-73-72-76—292, +4).  2021: Finished third in the China Amateur Golf Open (Leg 2: 73-81-69—223, +7), and placed ninth in the final (78-72-72-73—295, +7).
