WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
During my CU orientation I saw a photo of the handlers running with Ralphie and I spent the whole ride home talking to my mom about cool it was. Not only do you get to have a unique connection with a buffalo, but bring the football games and other events to life.
Â
WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
Ralphie is truly the spirit of CU. She encompasses the team spirit, determination, and excitement that every student here has.
Â
WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
Honestly... the cardio workouts will always be the hardest. It's a challenge to stay fit enough to run with
Ralphie.
Â
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
I love going to the ranch and spending time with Ralphie and the team! The handlers are some really hard working students and I am grateful to have this community.
Â
WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
People are always surprised by how much time we spend working out, especially weightlifting. It is not as easy job, but it sure is worthwhile.
Â
WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
I was surprised by just how much personality Ralphie has! She is a very confident and curious.
Â
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I love the outdoors, especially backpacking, thru-hiking, and photography. I have also competed internationally for equestrian vaulting (dance and gymnastics on the back of a moving horse).
