WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
I’ve been an athlete my whole life, love being part of a team, and have a passion for animals. What sparked my interest in the program was learning more about it from my brother, who is a Ralphie Handler. The first time I saw him run with Ralphie, it was an unforgettable moment. It’s something we’ve been able to connect over, and now the chance to share that experience with him is incredibly special.

WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
Ralphie is more than just a mascot, she's the face of the University of Colorado Boulder’s spirit, strength, and tradition. She is the heart of CU, and her run is one of the most thrilling, unique traditions in the history of college football.

WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
Honestly, the hardest part of being a Ralphie Handler is the cardio workouts. You learn quickly that Ralphie doesn’t care about your personal best time.

WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The best part of being a Ralphie Handler are the friendships you make on the team. You spend so much time together that you become really close. Everyone works hard and supports each other and we laugh a lot. Plus, who doesn't want to say that they are friends with a buffalo!

WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
One thing that surprises people the most when they ask me about being a Ralphie Handler is that we run with the live buffalo and how much training we do.

WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
One thing that surprised me the most about Ralphie after becoming a Handler is just how much heart and personality she has. She is very friendly and she can also be sassy.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I enjoy hiking, skiing (and unintentionally perfecting my fall technique), taking my dog on outdoor adventures, and spending time with my family and friends.
