Bio
WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
I heard about the program through a friend the summer before my freshman year. I was intrigued enough to do a bit of research and immediately knew that I wanted to get involved. After watching Ralphie and the team do their lap during the first football game I was starstruck by the amount of energy she brings to the stadium. From that moment on I was determined to be a part of the best tradition in college football.
WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
Ralphie is so much more than a mascot, she represents the history, culture, and traditions of the university. Ralphie characterizes the community of Boulder and the relentless spirit of CU athletics. For some people, she is the soul reason to show up for football games. For me she is the soul reason I love waking up early for workouts.
WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The hardest thing for me is walking around campus after leg day!
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The best part about being a Ralphie Handler is definitely the team. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community as a handler. I have already learned so much from my coaches and teammates, who keep me determined and accountable.
WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
On her days off, especially in the winter, Ralphie is an avid snowball fight enjoyer. She is currently undefeated and hopes to continue the winning streak as we enter the 2024-2025 season.
WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
I was surprised by how sneaky she can be. I would expect a large animal to be a bit noisy while trudging around, but she is incredibly stealthy, like an owl. She is also an extremely intelligent and clever creature.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I enjoy skiing, exercising, skateboarding, rock climbing, hiking, art, and thrifting (usually with 20 dollars in my pocket)
