WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THE RALPHIE PROGRAM?
I had just begun attending CU Football games during my Freshman year at CU, when I saw Ralphie run for the first time. It was exhilarating and when I felt the energy she brought to the game, I knew I wanted to try out. As I had been a sprinter previously, it seemed like a great way to continue doing the thing I loved while being a part of a team.
WHAT DOES RALPHIE MEAN TO YOU?
Ralphie represents the spirit and community of the University of Colorado. When she runs across the field, she unifies the many different students and staff at CU, symbolizing the perseverance and strength of the CU community.
WHAT'S THE HARDEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The hardest part of being a Ralphie Handler is managing the hours spent at workouts and training with academics.
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF BEING A RALPHIE HANDLER?
The best part about being a Ralphie Handler is definitely the team! I'm incredibly grateful to be in an environment where everyone is invested in your success, encourages you, and supports you even through challenging workouts.
WHAT'S ONE THING THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE THE MOST WHEN THEY ASK YOU ABOUT BEING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
People are often surprised to find out the amount of work that goes into the Ralphie program, and the fact that we are considered to be D1 athletes.
WHAT'S ONE THING ABOUT RALPHIE THAT SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AFTER BECOMING A
RALPHIE HANDLER?
One thing that surprised me about Ralphie is how much personality she has. The way she forms unique bonds with each handler reminds me of my pets at home!
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I love skiing, hiking, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and working out.
