COACH SANCHEZ ON ALEXANDER: “Amy is a player that is versatile through the midfield. She can play centrally, she can also play wide. She also has the capability of playing a wide forward if we play in a three front formation. Amy is very technical, very good on the ball. She came to camp last summer after she already committed and showed really well. Amy has a lot of good qualities we’re looking for and a lot of versatility through the midfield and on the attack. I think she can help us right away.”

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A four-year letterwinner at Mountain Vista, Alexander played a key role in helping the Golden Eagles to two Continental League Championships (2012-13) and a State 5A Championship.  She was involved in two Olympic Development Programs in 2010 and was voted a captain of her high school team for the last two seasons.  Alexander was a member of the Real Colorado club team with 2015 recruit Alexandra Vidger and won the Colorado State Cup twice (2009, 11).  She has also attended multiple U.S. Soccer camps and ID2 camps.  Alexander was named a four-star recruit by Top Drawer Soccer and ranked #84 nationally by IMG.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Alexander intends to major in business. She is also interested in political science and interior design.
