Natalie Montoya joined Colorado Athletics in December 2025 as the Assistant Director of Marketing. 

Montoya oversees marketing efforts for volleyball, women’s basketball, lacrosse, on-field in-game production for football, and Ralphie’s Road for football. 

Prior to joining Colorado, she was a marketing graduate assistant at Texas Christian University from 2024-25, and from 2020-24, she served as a marketing assistant at the University of New Mexico. While at TCU, she won the NACMA Unity Award for a Hispanic Heritage initiative in football, increased attendance for men’s basketball by 12%, and was part of the national championship run with the beach volleyball program. At New Mexico, she created the logo and rebranded the Howl Raiser student section and contributed to two Big 12 Championships alongside TCU soccer, which also saw a 20% attendance increase.

Montoya earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s Degree in Communications from Texas Christian University. During her time at New Mexico, she was a creative intern and lead marketing intern for four years.

She graduated from Manzano High School in Albuquerque, N.M., where she was Student Body Vice President and Secretary, played basketball, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Montoya was born in Albuquerque, N.M., and her birthday is March 30. She and her fiance Sadie have a corgi named Bingo. Her hobbies include hiking, trying new food spots, and going to concerts.
