Women's Tennis Drops Sunday Afternoon Match to Texas A&M

The loss drops the No. 44 ranked Buffaloes to 9-6 overall and to 3-4 in conference play, while the Aggies won their fourth straight and remained unbeaten in conference play at 5-0. Texas A&M also improved to 9-8 overall.
The 7-0 defeat was CU's first shutout loss since Jan. 31, 2004 when they fell 7-0 at then-No. 41
CU's lone bright spot in the win column came at No. 1 doubles. Although they subsequently lost the doubles point, the duo of Gleisy Torres Torres and Jessica Vanderdys defeated Tiffany Clifford and Sarah Foster, 8-5. It was Torres Torres'/Vanderdys' third straight win at No. 1 doubles improving their dual record to 5-1.
In singles, three of the six singles positions were determined by three sets.
