His 100-yard kickoff return was the 10th 100-yard play in school history (seven kickoff, three interception). He concludes his freshman year with 21 KO returns for 549 yards (26.1 avg.), the first freshman to lead the Buffs in kickoff returns since CB Ben Kelly in 1997. The last kickoff return for a TD by a Colorado player was by Brian Lockridge at Oklahoma State (Nov. 19, 2009; 98 yards). CU's 100-yard plays:

INDIVIDUAL LINER NOTES
- DE Will Pericak topped off his career by starting all 49 games in his career; that means he set records for most consecutive starts (any player) and most starts by a player, overall and on defense. He also became the ninth full-time defensive lineman (DT/DE) to record 200 career tackles (finished with 205).
Postgame he was presented with the 15th Annual Buffalo Heart Award, as selected by the fans behind the bench. - QB Nick Hirschman (51-30-4, 307, 1 TD). He had career highs in all (Att-Com-Int, matched TD high). He did, however become the first CU quarterback to throw 4four interceptions in a game in 15 years (John Hessler, four at Michigan on 9/13/97). Â
WR Nick Spruce (10-99, 1 TD) had his career high for receptions (had 8 twice previously), and just missed out on his second 100-yard game. He earned seven first downs. - P Darragh O'Neill (4-42.5, 2 In20) finished the year with 76 punts for 3,307 yards, 43.5 avg., 25 inside-the-20; that tied the season mark for punts with Art Woods (76 in 1981), broke his own mark for yards (3,152 last year) and set a new mark for inside-the-20 kicks (John Torp had 24 in 2005).

Utah Notes
Reggie Dunn added to his NCAA record 100-yard kickoff returns with the fifth of his career in the fourth quarter. He also holds the NCAA record for 100-yard kickoff returns for touchdowns in a season (4). Dunn holds the school record for kickoff returns for touchdowns in a season with four, and in a career with five.
John White had 168 rushing yards (20 carries). He added to the school record for career 100-yard games with the 14th of his career. He has six 100-yard games this season.
John White has 1,041 rushing yards for the season. He is the second running back in Utah history with two 1,000-yard seasons (joining Eddie Johnson, 1984 and '86) and is the first to accomplish the feat in back-to-back seasons. It is the 13th, 1,000-yard rushing season in school history.
John White ranks sixth in Utah history with 2,560 career rushing yards.
John White scored his 23rd career rushing touchdown with an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter, pulling even for fourth all-time with Mark Stevens (1983-84) and Eddie Wide (2007-10).
Travis Wilson scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season with a nine-yard rush in the fourth quarter. Wilson was 13-of-25 for 128 yards passing with one touchdown and no interceptions.
Dres Anderson scored his third touchdown of the season in the first quarter on a 16-yard catch.
Kelvin York scored his third touchdown of the season with a four-yard run in the second quarter. York was playing for the first time since an injury against Cal, missing three games. He had 10 carries for 25 yards.
Kenneth Scott led Utah in receiving with four catches for 36 yards. Luke Matthews recorded three catches for 34 yards.
Utah had four interceptions in a game for the first time this season, and the most since the Utes had four picks against
Washington State in 2011. Trevor Reilly had his first career interception in the first quarter. Eric Rowe had his first interception of the season and the second of his career in the second quarter. Mo Lee had his first interception of the season and the fourth of his career in the fourth quarter. Brian Blechen had his first interception and the eighth of his career in the fourth quarter. Utah had four total interceptions for the season coming into the game.
Joe Kruger blocked a field goal attempt in the second quarter, the first of his career.
V.J. Fehoko and Nate Fakahafua each had seven tackles to lead Utah. It was a career high for Fehoko.
Coleman Peterson went 2-for-2 in field goals, with makes of 21 and 37 yards. Peterson is 5-for-5 in field goals over
Utah's last four games, and 8-of-13 for the season.
Tom Hackett dropped four of his five punts inside the 20-yard line. He has 15 punts inside the 20-yard line for the season. Â
