TEAM

• CU has won five games in a row, their longest since starting the 2012-13 season with six straight.

• CU improves to 49-7 at home (.875) in four years under Coach Boyle, who pads his record to 19-7 (.731) in November games, including a 14-0 mark at home.

• Coach Boyle improves his four-year coaching record for most wins in the shortest time at CU with his 74th victory (39 losses) and is two wins from fourth all-time

• The 5-1 start matches the team's second best start since 2005-06 (last year started 6-0).
• CU inches closer to UC Santa Barbara in head-to-head matchups, at 5-4 and improves to 21-12 against the Big West

Tad Boyle moves to 2-0 against Big West teams (only other win was against Hawaii)

• Team was 90% or higher from the charity stripe at halftime for second straight game

• 18 of CU's 32 first-half points came in the paint

• CU's 12-0 run was largest of the game, putting them up by 10 with 3:56 left in the game

• CU is 4-0 when out-rebounding the opponent this season and 58-10 in that category in the coach Boyle era at CU

• Three-point streak has continued to 371-straight games (dating back to Jan. 19, 2002)

• Buffs improve to 5-4 when Dinwiddie scores 20+ points

Spencer Dinwiddie

• Earlier in the day, was named one of 50 collegiate players to the Naismith Trophy watch list (best college player)

• Moves up two spots on CU's all-time scoring list to No. 32 with 951 points

• Perfect from the line at halftime, hitting 5-of-5

• Fourth career game making double-digit free throws (second this season)

• First 20-point game of the season, 9th in career

• Led the team in scoring with 24 points, 26th time he has done so in his career

• Ties Brian Johnson for No. 17 on CU's all-time starts list with 75

• Passes Cory Higgins for No. 3 on CU's all-time free throw percentage list at 83%

• Ties Alex Stivrins for No. 28 on CU's all-time assists list with 182 

 

 

Askia Booker

• Moves up one spot to No. 50 on CU's all-time scoring list with 793 points

• Scored in double-figures for the fourth time this season

 

Josh Scott

• Had no points in first half for the first time this season

• Has seven consecutive games of 7+ rebounds dating back to the final game of last season (14 rebounds against Illinois)

• Marks the 5th time this season he has led the team in rebounds (10th in career)

 

Xavier Johnson

• Had a strong outing after missing the last two games from being “dinged up,” scoring nine points, three steals, two assists and five rebounds
