CU Student Sports Pass Info
The first wave of CU Sports Passes for the 2025-26 school year is sold out. The second wave will go on sale August 19 at 10 a.m. Please login to your student account ahead of time to make sure that you can access the student portal.
The CU Sports Pass is for eligible CU Boulder students only. CU Boulder undergraduate students must be registered for a minimum of four (4) credit hours to be eligible to purchase. Continuing education credits do NOT count towards the four credit hour requirement. Eligible students will be able log into their accounts using their CU Identikey credentials. Graduate student football season tickets are now sold out.
- The CU Student Sports Pass gives you access to claim a ticket to home football games and home men’s basketball games. Volleyball, soccer and women's basketball tickets are free to all students to attend.
- This year, you will be required to login and claim your ticket to both football and men's basketball. Admission to all other CU Athletics events is FREE with your Student ID.
- There will be no re-entry at Folsom Field or the CU Events Center.
- $10 from every CU Student Sports Pass purchased goes to support everyone’s favorite Buffalo – RALPHIE!
- Tickets to individual games are not guaranteed based on space limitations and must be claimed in advance.
- If you claim a football ticket but do not get your ticket scanned in at Folsom Field, you forfeit the opportunity to claim a ticket to the next home football game. If for some reason you know in advance that you cannot attend, email cutix@colorado.edu from your STUDENT EMAIL ACCOUNT no later than 24 hours before kickoff.
- It is YOUR responsibility to make a note of the claim window dates and times; we do not send reminders every week.
For home football games played at Folsom Field, tickets are good for general admission seating in Sections 110 through 117. Half of section 110 is reserved for the Golden Buffalo Marching Band. Students will receive their tickets via mobile delivery and will show their Buff OneCard along with their game ticket on their mobile device for entry into Football and Men's Basketball games.
For Men's Basketball games, student tickets are good for general admission seating in Sections 13-17. Women’s Basketball student general admission seating is good in sections 15-16. In addition, students receive free entry into regular season home CU Athletics events including Volleyball, Soccer, Lacrosse and Tennis events by simply showing their Buff OneCard.

Buff Club Student Memberships
Students who purchase a CU Sports Pass with a $125 Buff Club student membership will receive first access to claim their ticket for all home football games. A limited number of Buff Club Student Memberships will be available when purchasing your CU Sports Pass. Donating directly to the Buff Club does not activate your student membership.

- For each year a student purchases a Buff Club Student Membership, they will receive double the number of priority points.
- Priority points are used to determine access to purchase season tickets, away game tickets, post-season tickets, and other premium opportunities.
- Priority points are lifetime accruals and remain on your CU Athletics account after graduation. Students who choose to stay active with the Buff Club after graduation by making an annual donation or additional gifts will continue to earn priority points.

How do I purchase a Buff Club Student Membership?
The student membership can be added when ordering your CU Sports Pass. Donating directly to the Buff Club does not activate your student membership.
How long does my Buff Club Student Membership last?
Your student membership begins when you order your CU Sports Pass and add the $125 donation to the Buff Club. Your membership lasts until the CU Sports Pass goes on sale for the next school year.

What happens to my priority points when I graduate?

How is my $125 Buff Club contribution used?
Students supporting students. Your contribution directly supports the Crawford Family WHOLE (Wellness Health Optimal Life Experience) Student-Athlete Program which is designed to support holistic well-being for the 350+ student-athletes at CU Boulder. The program helps them build sustainable paths to wellness, career maturity, and optimal athletic performance from the day they arrive at CU.
Is the $125 contribution tax-deductible?
No, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed in 2017 no longer allows for gifts tied to ticket purchases to be considered tax-deductible. Donors should consult their tax advisor to determine the deductibility of their gift.
Important General Information
- The Athletic Department will communicate with students as needed through their email provided during online account registration.
- This email address must be active on your phone in order to be able to receive mobile tickets. Please verify you are subscribed to emails here.
- Please watch your email account for important messages from the Athletic Department as well as other campus offices.
- To be eligible for student tickets, you must be an enrolled student at the University of Colorado, Boulder and enrolled in a minimum of four credit hours.
- All students must present their valid Buff OneCard for admission to events or to take advantage of any student benefits with the Athletic Department.
- Any attempt at fraudulent admission by not using your own Buff OneCard may result in disciplinary action from the university or local authorities.
- Students may not interfere in any way with the play of the contest, venue operations and security or other patrons.
- Students shall not engage in any activity contrary to the standards of the University of Colorado. Any such behavior will lead to ejection without refund, denial of entrance to future events and subject the student to all legal remedies available to the university and/or local authorities
- If you attempt to sell your student ticket, your sports pass will be revoked.
- Any students ejected from a game will lose their season tickets for the remainder of the season without refund and will face disciplinary procedures at the Office of Student Conduct.
ANY ATTEMPT AT FRAUDULENT PURCHASES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF TICKET BENEFIT WITHOUT REFUND. YOUR VALID BUFF ONECARD IS REQUIRED FOR ADMITTANCE TO ATHLETIC EVENTS
