Colorado-USC Notes

January 10, 2015 | Women's Basketball

Colorado has dropped its last four and six of its last seven. The Buffaloes' four-game skid is their longest since a similar streak in January 2014.

Colorado is 0-3 in the Pac-12 for the first time and is its slowest start since losing its first four games of the 2009 Big 12 season.

USC improves its series lead to 7-4 over Colorado and has won the last three.

Colorado's 13-point halftime deficit (40-27) was its largest of the season and largest at home since it trailed Stanford by 17 (55-38) on Jan. 12, 2014. The Buffaloes have trailed at the half in 9 of 14 games this year and fall to 3-6 in those outings.

The 20-point loss is Colorado's worst at home since an 80-54 setback to No. 4 Stanford on Jan. 14, 2012.

Jasmine Sborov's 10 points were just one off her Pac-12 best which was 11 against UCLA last season. It was just her third career double-figure game during conference play. Her five field goals made were a Pac-12 high.

Jamee Swan tied a career high with five blocked shots, matching her effort from CU's last home game against Long Beach State (Dec. 30). She now has 91 in her career tying Crystal Ford (1985-89) for ninth on CU's all-time list. With 14 points, Swan led Colorado in scoring for the fifth straight game and eighth overall time this season

Jen Reese had 13 points, leaving her 17 away from reaching 1,000 (983).
