Buffs Ready for Senior Night at Prentup Against Oregon

BOULDER — The No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes (10-5, 4-2 Pac-12) will square off against the Oregon Ducks (8-5, 2-4 Pac-12) Friday night, at 6 p.m. MDT at Prentup Field for Senior Day and the last home game of the season.
This will be the first time the Buffs will have ever played a home game at Prentup Field during the regular season. They last played there when they hosted the Pac-12 Tournament.
The Buffs are coming off a heartbreaking loss to USC on the road last weekend, which snapped their three-game winning streak. They officially secured the no. 3 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, which will be played at USC, inside the coliseum next week.
Colorado boasts three different players with 30 or more points on the year (Pisani, Stokes, Hritzuk) heading into the final home game of the season. Pisani leads the team and Pac-12 with 49 goals, while Stokes is second in the conference with 24 assists. Hritzuk has 30 goals and eights assists so far, ranking third on the team with 38 points.
Defender Jess Peluso broke the single-season school record (35) for caused turnovers in the loss versus USC this past Sunday. With the final home game and Pac-12 tournament still to be played, Peluso will continue to add to that number. She claimed Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this season, her 45 CTOs in her career is tied for the ninth most in Pac-12 history.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Buffs have dominated the all-time series with the Ducks, winning 16 out of the 17 total games played. CU has never lost to OU in Boulder or Eugene, as the lone loss came in Tempe, Ariz. during the 2022 Pac-12 Tournament, which ended CU's season.
Colorado was a perfect 12-0 against Oregon until the 2022 postseason.
