Indoor Track and Field Set to Open 2025 at Home

BOULDER – The University of Colorado track and field team is set to host the first of three indoor meets in 2025 with the Potts Invitational on Friday, Jan. 10, and Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Indoor Practice Facility.

Things to Know
The Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) is located near the intersection of Folsom Street and Stadium Drive. Parking is available beneath the IPF on Parking Level 1 for a fee at all times. Payments can be made via kiosks or the ParkMobile app using lot code 6339.
Last Time Out
New York native Nick Bianco continued his stellar indoor season with a first-place finish in the men's heptathlon at the Mines Alumni Classic. Despite entering the final day in fourth place, Bianco surged to the top with 5,591 points, including first-place finishes in the 60-meter hurdles (8.06 seconds) and pole vault (4.80 meters). This marked Bianco's second consecutive weekend on the podium after winning the 60-meter hurdles in Golden.
Senior John Swabik also delivered a strong performance, finishing third in the men's heptathlon with 5,430 points. Swabik tied for first in the high jump with a personal best of 1.97 meters and placed third in the 60-meter hurdles last weekend.
On the women's side, Riley Ward stood out, earning a second-place finish in the high jump at the UCCS Invitational with a mark of 1.73 meters. This followed her personal-best jump of 1.75 meters at the Mines Alumni Classic, marking a stellar start to her 2024–25 campaign.

- The Indoor Practice Facility enforces a clear bag policy. For more information on the clear bag policy, visit [here].
- No food or drinks are allowed in the facility, except for water. Water coolers will be provided, but attendees must bring their own water bottle or cup.
- Admission on Friday is free, tickets are required for Saturday. Tickets can be pre-purchased here or at the door.
