Buffs Complete Day One of Potts Invitational

January 10, 2025 | Track and Field

BOULDER -- The Colorado Buffaloes Track and Field Program hosted day one of the Potts Invitational on Friday afternoon inside the Indoor Practice Facility. Colorado State, MSU Denver, and McPherson were the other schools that competed in Friday's Field events.

The New York native, Nick Bianco, continued his torrid indoor season run, notching another two event wins under his belt. Bianco set a personal best in the pole vault earlier in the day that went 5.18 meters, easily capturing a win in that event. Bianco later competed in the high jump where he jumped 1.81 meters, which was also good enough for a top finish.

Grad student Allie Routledge captured the other top finish for the Buffaloes on the day, jumping 1.71 meters in the high jump, marking her first event win of the indoor season. Sophomore Riley Ward finished second right behind Routledge, with a jump of 1.66 meters.

Marco Martinez and Aidan Christiansen rounded out the other top-three finishes for the Buffaloes on the day, with Martinez placing second in the high jump with a best of 1.76 meters. Christiansen also placed second but in the long jump with a best of 6.55 meters.
