GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Senior Maria Eidhagen Harrouch and sophomore Carolyn Fuller led Colorado on the second day of the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club as the final 27 holes were played Saturday.

Eidhagen Harrouch and Fuller tied for Colorado's low 54-hole score, shooting 7-over-par, 223, just outside the top 20, sharing the 21st spot on the overall leaderboard.

Using a 27-27 hole format, golfers completed the second round Saturday morning on the back nine before completing the day with the third round.

Eidhagen Harrouch, who played the first half of the second round at 2-over on Friday, played the back side at 3-over to finish with a 77. She played two strokes better in the final round finishing with a 75. Eidhagen Harrouch was even through 13 holes before three-straight bogeys between the 14th and 16th at the end of her day.

Fuller played the back half of her second round at 1-under, making birdie at the par-4 14th and the par-5 18th to secure her best of three rounds with a 73. She got off to a rocky start in the final round, falling to 4-over through seven holes. She stayed at 4-over through 11 and then made consecutive birdies at the 499-yard par-5 12th and the 398-yard par-4 13th. She fell back three strokes over the next two holes before rebounding with a final birdie on the par-3 17th to close out with a 76.

Redshirt freshman Vanessa Ngo tied for 27th at 9-over, 225. She struggled to get much going over the final 27 holes. After shooting 1-over in the first half of the second round on Friday, she played the back nine at 3-over to finish with a 76. Ngo shot 78 in the third round. In all she had just two birdies on the day, both coming at the 477-yard par-5 18th.

"Guadalajara CC is over 100 years old with tree lined and tight fairways and sloping, fast greens," Colorado head coach Madeleine Sheils said. "It demands a lot of thought, discipline and patience and you can't just bomb and gouge your way around out here. I thought did a great job of being disciplined and patient most of yesterday, but we lost some of that today. There were some really challenging hole locations that made the course play tougher as well. We used today as an opportunity to keep developing our patience and discipline under pressure, because those are the skills we will need to play great golf consistently."

With Morgan Miller out due to an illness, the Buffaloes were down to four golfers which left no margin for error. Freshman Sydney Givens signed an incorrect scorecard after the first round, which led to the team's disqualification and Colorado was left to play the tournament as individuals.

Givens, who did not place due to the disqualification, played her two completed rounds at 3-over. Her best stretch came on the back nine of the second round where she made three birdies to finish with a 1-under 71. Givens didn't have as much luck on the back nine in the third round, playing that at 4-over, eventually finishing with a 76.

"All four players had more positives than negatives in their games this week," Sheils said. "They are hitting it really well as a group. Maria, Carolyn and Vanessa are hitting the ball as well as I've ever seen them. Sydney continues to score well. They look ready to compete. We would have earned a solid finish today had our scores counted, but we have to leave that behind and focus on the next event."

No. 12 Florida State took the team title at 10-under, outlasting No. 23 TCU by six strokes. The Seminoles and Horned Frogs were the only two teams to finish under par. No. 11 Virginia was third at 3-over. Florida State's Mirabel Ting won medalist honors at 12-under, thanks to a tournament-best 66 in the final round.

Colorado continues its spring season at the San Diego State Classic, Feb. 10-11, at The Heights Golf Club in San Diego.
