
Colorado To Play Four Exhibitions In Australia

BOULDER – Colorado men's basketball heads out on its foreign tour of Australia on Wednesday night, looking forward to a four-game exhibition set in the land down under, with one being streamed back live for fans in the United States.
The Buffaloes will arrive in Melbourne on Friday morning local time (mid-afternoon on Thursday in Boulder). Colorado will play its first game on Saturday, July 26, against Hoop City, one of Australia's top basketball training academies.
The team will depart for Gold Coast (near Brisbane) on Sunday, July 27, where they will play their next two games. Colorado's second game will take place on Tuesday, July 29, with details on timing and opponent still being finalized.
Game No. 3 is the marquee event of the trip. As previously released, Colorado will play the Australian Boomers, Australia's Men's National Team, on July 31, at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Center. The game will be at 6:30 p.m. local time, 2:30 a.m. MT, televised locally in Australia and streamed live back to the U.S. on ESPN+.
Following a trip to Cairns, Aug. 1-3, the Buffaloes will travel to Sydney for the final leg of their journey. Colorado will conclude its exhibition schedule against the Sydney Kings, a National Basketball League team. The Buffaloes and Kings will meet on Monday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. local time, which is Sunday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. back in Colorado. This final contest will be a battle of the Tomlinsons. Colorado assistant coach and Sydney native Nate Tomlinson's dad, Bill Tomlinson, is a member of the Kings' coaching staff.
Colorado returns home on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
