Sanchez Adds Madison Mueller To Soccer Roster

BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes Soccer program has added transfer goalkeeper Madison Mueller from Texas Tech, coach Danny Sanchez announced Friday.
Mueller is a 5-7 goalkeeper from Heath, Texas, where she attended Rockwall-Heath High School.
She was part of Texas Tech's 2023 Big 12 Championship team, which she described as her most thrilling sports moment.
"Maddie is great addition to our goalkeeping room," Sanchez said. "She has three years of experience in the Big 12 and has the tools to compete for a big role on our squad."Â
Before her collegiate career, Mueller earned first-team all-district honors four times at Rockwall-Heath and was named her team's MVP during both her junior and senior seasons. She was also selected as the Region 6A-10 Goalkeeper of the Year.
Mueller played club soccer for Sting Dallas Black ECNL from 2016-23. During her club career, Sting Dallas earned a third-place finish at the ECNL Nationals in 2018 and won the Texas Conference championship in 2019.
Outside of athletics, Mueller participated in FCCLA Sports Nutrition, winning a Texas state title and finishing as a national runner-up. She was also involved in culinary arts and the National Charity League.
Mueller plans to study integrative physiology at Colorado. She chose Colorado because of "the collective mindset the university has set to be all in athletically and academically."
